Jipmer July pg md/MS 2018 prospectus shows roster point allocation from rank 41 as position 1...what about first 40ranks?

Hi Apoorva,
I understand your concern. However, in my understanding, this could have happened because the candidates from UR Rank 1 to 40 must have appeared for other MD entrances say, AIIMS or NEET MD and must have taken up admissions in other colleges of their choice through these exams. It seems the only logical explanation for allocating seats from UR Rank 41.
