Hello there.
CLAT and JMI LAW, both are law exams.
The knowledge that's checked in both the exams is same. So if you're well prepared for CLAT ,then you can definitely perform well in jmi.
Moreover, the books you are using for CLAT will definitely be helpful in JMI too.
Your basic legal concepts should be strong and work hard on your vocabulary.
Then there is general knowledge section, it's quite scoring if you read news papers and have well prepared static gk too.
So books don't make much of a difference in both the exams. Your basic concepts of the subjects should be clear and strong.
Do solve previous year papers. Would be helpful.
