As far as I know, to get into B.tech stream the eligibility criteria of this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 12th (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90%  in 10+2 , or 90 percentile in  JEE Mains, then LPUNEST  will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

In order to take admission in your desired programme, you need to meet the eligibility norms.
On inquiring for one of my friend from the counsellors of LPU I came to know that those who have 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPUNEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPUNEST. University is taking Remotely Online proctored test from home considering the scenario of COVID-19.

The cut off may vary from 30% to 50% marks depending on the phase you are seeking admission but in order to take admission in Honours, the cut-off is little stringent.
Counsellors highlighted that there is separate cut-off for scholarship as LPU floats three slabs of scholarships so in order to get the minimum scholarship, the aspirant must get 60% of the total marks approximately and 80% of the total marks approximately to get the highest slab out of the current slab.

• Candidates participating in Special Counselling schedule, if interested, may appear for LPUNEST to improve their score for Scholarship and/ or participate in Regular Schedule of counselling again for changing/ improving the allotted branch.
• Last date to apply is 20th April, 2020
• All the steps of counseling, starting from application to admission can be completed online.

Regular schedule of counselling will be conducted depending upon Government decision on lockdown due to Covid-19.
