Dear Prashanth, NEET is the entrance examination for admission into Medical, Dental and Ayush colleges across India. Ayush includes Homeopathy medicine as well. So its mandatory to appear for NEET to take admission in BHMS. While NEET is a national level exam, you have State level entrance examinations like TS EAMCET, AP EAMCET, PUCET, KEAM, etc.

Yes NEET is compulsory  to take admission in BHMS course. NEET will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS/BHMS Courses in India in Medical Colleges run with the approval of Medical council of India under the Union Minsty of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

• From 2018, NEET for admission in MBBS/BAMS/BDS/BHMS/BNYS
• For admission in any Medical college in foreign country NEET is mandatory. For admission in these courses you must qualify NEET.
• For qualifying NEET you need to score 50 percentile for general category and 45 percentile for other categories.
• Last Year for NEET qualification 131 Marks are required for general category and 139 Marks are required for other categories.
• This Year 119 Marks are required for general and 96 for Others for NEET qualification.
• But do remember qualification does not guarantee selection so try to get 300+ Marks
