MBA is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated by Universities and PGDM is a diploma course offered by institutes that are recognised by All India council for Technical Education & which are Autonomus and not affiliated to any university.

A student perusing MBA study will be studying more of the theoretical aspects of Management. An MBA institute follow a fixed curriculum as it will be based on universities guidelines.

A student pursuing PGDM course will be gaining knowledge regarding building soft skills & this programme is more industry oriented. An Autonomous institute does not have to follow university standards, so it is free to change its curriculum according to the industry standards and change in the business Environment.

Now the choice should be yours as per your interest but now a days most of the students prefer PGDM as it focus on skill based on market requirement.
