MBA/MHA which one is better for future career
As per your question,The MHA degrees is a specific degree that prepares the recipient for careers in the public sector or administrative leadership of health care delivery systems. It is automatically recognized.
On the other hand, MBA's generally include "for-profit" viewpoints and may make someone more flexible. Generally an MBA is much more desirable if you look at the whole job market rather than just the health care delivery marketplace.
Hope this information is relevant to your question.
Thank you:)
Hello Aspirant,
MBA and MHA have one thing in common. They provide you an understanding of the business world. Apart from that there is no similarity.
MBA deals with a general perspective. It will prepare you to deal with a holistic view of business in all aspects - finance, operations, marketing, sales, consultancy, etc.
MHA deals with training you in the Healthcare industry in terms of business knowledge. It deals with specialized courses such as healthcare-specific policy, law, ethics, management, organizational behavior, financing, human resources, marketing and more.
If you are interested to pursue your career in Healthcare industry, then go ahead with MHA. If not and you want to keep your avenues open, go for MBA.
PS - I would like to iterate that the industry changes as per the degree you choose. But both the degrees provide you a knowledge of the business world.
Think and make a wise decision. Let us know if you need further help.
