ndian Institutes of Technology (IITs) provide BTech admission to candidates who qualify JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced, on the basis of IIT cut off. However, JEE Advanced is not the only criteria for IIT admissions. Before appearing for this exam, candidates also need to take JEE Main. Currently, there are a total of 23 IITs in India that offer more than 10,000 BTech seats. JEE Main 2019 is being conducted byNTA (National Testing Agency) twice a year: first time in January and second in April, for admissions to the NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. Till 2018, the exam was being held by CBSE. The exam is also the first stage of IIT admission process. JEE Advanced is the second stage of this process for candidates seeking admission to the 23IITs in India . Every year more than 10 lakh candidates appear for the exam aspiring for IIT admission. But, only the top 2.4 lakh JEE Main qualifiers are allowed to appear for JEE Advanced examination.
JEE Main Cut off for JEE Advanced
Candidates who successfully crack JEE Main examination and obtain a score which is equal to the JEE Main cut off will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced. NTA will releaseJEE Main cut off once the exam concludes and the results are declared. In 2018, the JEE Main cut off score for general category students was 74 while that for OBC NCL candidates was 45.

Dear aspirant,
The best IIIT's in India are IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Allahabad. The chance of getting a good rank to get inducted into IIIT's , if you score 220 to 250 marks. To get into IIIT-Hyderabad you have to score at least 250 and for CSE branch you have to score minimum of 275 marks.
