NIT rourkela is a great college, the rank depends on the branch.Different branches have different ranks however last year the cutoff of B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering which is one of the most popular courses in NIT Rourkela saw a Closing rank of 10298 for home students, and for other states (other than Odisha) students, the cutoff was 4579.
