My caste belongs to OBC category but while submitting rajasthan goverment vacancy form i selected general category...now my merit will be on the basis of general category...now my question is will i need caste certificate or income certificate

I have domicile of maharashtra but I wrote my category as general from past so many years though Im obc. now I made my centeral obc certificate from rajasthan . will this certificate will be applicable for maharashtra state counselling

Hello Devendra,

Since you chose your category as General therefore Caste certificate will not be required and Income certificate is only required in the case of EWS category.

I am getting NIT but as I live in Gujarat and having domicile of Gujarat but caste certificate of Rajasthan so which caste certificate will work (state or central of Rajasthan) or it will create any problem as I have caste certificate of Rajasthan but living and havind domicile of Gujarat.

My native state is Rajasthan but I completed my studies in Delhi. I am going to appear for jee mains and the thing is that I cam from OBC in Rajasthan but my caste in Delhi doesnt come under OBC category. So in that case, if I fill in my form OBC whether Delhi will be my home state or not.

I was born & have birth certificate from Rajasthan. Whereas raised & completed my education from Maharashtra. Now, my parents dont have caste certificate & to apply for central govt exam, will need Central OBC NCL Certificate. So can u plz guide about right process & required documents?

Hello,i am from Gujarat.My Jee main pr is 99.1276. My AIR as obc-ncl is 1894 andas Common Rank List is 9845.i want to go in chemical engineering at SVNIT.But i have caste certificate of Rajasthan. so will SVNIT accept my caste certificate of Rajasthan or will they consider me as General ?
