If your father is currently serving in paramilitary, you come under Priority 8.
If he is retired, you come under Priority 6.
Unfortunately, in DU the provision for paramilitary is only upto priority 5.

DU offers defence quota to the defence personnels but the quota is divided on the basis of priorities, which are in total nine, according to the updated guidelines of Delhi University.
You can know more in detail abourmt the priorities division on the official website of DU. Amongst the nine priorities, you are most probably eligible for the 8th priority which is "Wards of Serving Personnel."
Also bear in mind that the seats are limited in this quota and are distributed according to the set Priorities only.
