my first preference wan cnlu patna.and so i got it i the 1st list .can i get nlu kolkata?(which was my 2nd preference)?

Your chances for admission in an NLU not Only depends on your preference, but also depends on your rank.
There is a lot of difference between the previous year's cut off and ranking of the two NLUs. The cut off for WBNUJ, Kolkata was a rank of 213 and the cut off for CNLU, Patna was a rank of 909 in 2017.
You can expect a similar cut off this Year too.
Hence you can get admission in WBNUJ, only if your rank falls within that range.
