    Hi Karan,

    It's perfectly alright. Don't get nervous with one section. If you know quants is your weak section then just go through the basic concepts and formulas for it and if you are able to get them, then it's well and good. As, there's no sectional cut off for MAT exam, you can concentrate on the other sections. make sure you have good accuracy level in the other sections and try to score above at least 600 score to get a good college through this entrance exam.

    Thank you for the reply mam and as you have said i'm working hard on all the other three sections daily but after doing many mock test, i could only score 75-80 marks and that's really hurting my confidence mam. I don't know how tough the question in verbal and DI section will gonna be and that's making me more scared day after day.I don't have a problem with reasoning cause i can score 30-35 marks in that but other then that i can only score 40-45 in verbal and DI and that is really kicking my confidence down right now mam and quant is already hopeless for me. So, i really appreciate if u can guide me with some idea or trick mam.Thank you.

    As now you have practiced lot of mock tests. Now,  I would suggest you to go through the papers again and see where exactly you are making mistakes. Try to practice them or improve on that particular part. If that is not happening then concentrate on the area of your expertise and make them 100 percent accurate. This will definitely help you to gain confidence. But be consistent with your daily practice from all the sections till the exam is done.

    Mam one more thing is it really okay to just practice from MAT Arihant previous year papers or should i try any other book like Arun Sharma DI or Quant book for CAT exam? I'll really appreciate mam if you can recommend any book or online website where i can practice good level DI, Reasoning and English questions and Mam if you're gonna recommend me to practice previous year paper online  then i'm sorry to say that there's no recent previous year paper of MAT posted online on any site the only available ones are till 2011-12 max. and other then that there's none latest ones to practice from. So what should i do now mam? Thank you.

    If you really want to practice more mock test and also if you are targeting CAT19 then I would suggest you to join T.I.M.E.S online mock test series as it is considered to be the best for management mock tests and previous years papers as well. Not only you'll  get sample paper but also the previous years exam papers. Their mock tests are even 1 level tougher than the actual exam and if you will be able to get good score in them then it will be a good practice before giving actual exam.

    In comparision to CAT how tough MAT is? cause i heard MAT is quite easy and you can clear MAT with basics knowledge and stuff like that is that true?

    yes it is true that MAT exam is easier than CAT exam. That is why through MAT exam you get very average decent college. So if you really want to de MBA from a good college then give CAT exam also and try to score above at least 90 percentile  to get a good primier institute.
