My percentage is 49% can i get admission in Chandigarh university

As the Chandigarh Univeristy demands minimum 50% in 12th or in any equivalent board for general category and for SC or ST category it is 45% so most probably you can not take admission in Chandigarh university.

Again if you belongs to either SC or ST category then only you can take admission.

If there are any chance of spot admission after the general admission then there is a little ray of hope. But in my point of view you should try for other universities which eligibility criteria matches up with your %.

If you need other eligibility criteria of Chandigarh university then here are those -:

For BE -:

You should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology with at least 50% marks (45% in SC/ST)

For BE(lateral entry)

You should have done Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for Reserved categories) OR B.Sc degree.
