my rank is 115320 i got seat in vit bhopal is it good for doing btech biotech and what is the fee structure???

Hello dear,
Surely VIT Bhopal can be preferred over VIT Vellore. Though , being a alumni of Vellore campus few points I would put forward , rest decision is on individual.

Companies visit for placements in VIT mostly in Vellore campus and in few instances in Chennai Campus. Thus during your final year or pre-final year , you have to be on toes every moment for your job. Well this can be tiresome (14hrs of travel surely becomes tiresome at some point of time), which may effect your performance.

Vellore campus was established more than 25 yrs ago ( SJT in Vellore campus was named after the same), hence has best facilities and professors . Coming to co-curicular part many chapters and clubs are pre established in Vellore campus and students get a huge amount of opportunities to learn things other than academics , all in all grooming their personality and preparing the for the industry.

Last but no the least, from my personal experiences I would say until we leave out comfort zone we restrict ourselves in achieving things .

Biased answer from me no doubt.

The Bhopal campus will enter its second year in 2018 and there is a body of work that is already available about the teaching research and overall ambience. FB must be able to give you some pointers. VIT Bhopal has some advantages

100% doctoral faculty with years of experience in the domain,

diverse faculty from all corners of India,

excellence of the VIT brand of educational expertise,

innovative method of teaching,

a burning desire to prove itself over its southern counterparts. We could go on.

Now the question is this.

You have an upcoming institution which is raring to go and on the upswing. Why should you consider anything else over this? I see your arguments saying established universities but all established universities do suffer from some amount of hubris and slow decision making and some reliance on the comfort zones. Are you sure you want to enter there or go into a dynamic exciting place.

Also, VIT Bhopal is launching two new exciting programmes this year in Gaming and Security and forensics. You will be able to specialize in B Tech as well as learn. Even if you do the normal B Tech CSE, there will be certificate programmes that enable you to learn and get hands on exposure about these domains.
