my rank is 39000 what is the possibility of nit

As you have scored well and good rank to achieve the best colleges. And the possibility of NIT is  good but if do the state quota counciling  so their will be a chance of getting good NIT.

Good NIT , as i said earlier that there many chance f getting best collages so also try another than NIT collage . Because if you will get a NIT college but it will not allow you to choose your dream branch . so, also care for that you choose the collage accordingly.

With this rank chances seem to be very less to get admission in NITs. However you can go for state level counseling like punjab haryana etc. There are so many private colleges in India where you can get admission in btech.

With your rank you have less chances of getting a good NIT . I suggest you to go for northeastern NIT or GFTIs with non technical branches . predict the college  through JEE main rank .
