IIIT Trichy currently runs in NIT Trichy which is one of the best NIT in India. Thus the cutoffs for IIIT Trichy is a bit above average as compared to other new IIITs which don't have a permanent campus. Sadly, last year the IIIT closed around 5k rank in SC category. The closing ranks is most probably going to close even before that this year due to constant improvement in the institute. It is very though for you to get IIIT Trichy. I would suggest you to look for other IIITs and then go for CSAB round to try for IIIT Trichy.
