my son didn't registered with ews quota in du while registeration during 2nd round counselling.can he get chance under ews quota for mop up

If you haven't specified that you fall in ews quota in your application, you won't be considered under that category. So basically, he would be treated as general candidate. You can do one thing i.e approach the alloted college and then change your category under ews quota by presenting the respective documents(during admission). But for the mop up it won't be considered.
