Hi samiksha
At thet of registration, the candidate has to pay two type of fees - Refundable security deposit and Non-refundable Registration fee.
However both these fees will vary depending on the type of institute the candidate is applying for admission:
- Deemed Universities, or
- For (15% All India Quota)/ Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi)/AFMS & ESI
For Deemed Universities
Non Refundable Registration fee: Rs. 5000 (same for all candidates)
Refundable Security amount: Rs. 2,00,000
Hope this helps.
Hi samiksha,
The registration fees(1000) is non refundable in any case even if you dont get a college or dont join one after being alloted in any of the rounds . The 10,000 rs is refundable in case-
1. You dont get college in any of the rounds.
2. You dont join the college alloted at the first round and leave the counseling.
You will forfeit the money if u are alloted a college in the 2nd round or mop up round but dont join and leave. Once you join the allotted college in 2nd or mop up round , you are not allowed to resign .
