NTA score 98.35... AIR 18k So IIIT Bangalore is not possible even though I satisfy last year's cutoff. Am I right?

You did not mention your JEE Mains marks. At IIIT Bangalore, the cutoff marks of 2018 for a seat in 5-year integrated M.tech programme in Computer science and engineering was 182 marks whereas the cutoff marks for 5-year integrated M.tech programme in Electronics and communication engineering was 170 marks. In year 2017, the cutoff marks for 5-year integrated programme in CSE was 196 marks whereas the cutoff marks for 5-year integrated programme in ECE was 186 marks.
