Courses

LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech , MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT,NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. Even they help students after regular university hours In every section they have 40–60 Students which helps teachers to focus on focus on each student.

Placements

On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.LPU provides placements to the maximum it has record-breaking placements in MBA approximately 98% of students got placed in top companies in the year 2020. It showcased more than 160 festivals celebrated all across the country.

LPU is a great place to live during your prime student life. There are 7 on campus Boys Hostels and 6 on campus Girls hostel which provide quite lavish living facilities including 24 hours running water, dedicated hot water taps during winters, wifi, proper drinking water facilities, 24 hours power backup, 24 hours operational food canteens and departmental stores etc. There are loads of food kiosks as well as kiosks providing other services like mobile servicing, laptop servicing, tailors etc. catering to the needs of the students.

As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in.

Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. Talking in terms of fees, the fees of the institutes are higher now-a-days but LPU offers the chance to get higher scholarships and that too for all semesters.

Lovely professional University has better placement opportunities for its students and also provides better exposure in terms of internships and the kind of students it has throughout the courses it offers. Gautam Budh university is a decent college with average placement opportunities and limited exposure. The faculty for both the colleges/universities are comparable. Though the fees at GBU is affordable for all income groups.
