The mission of chemical engineering in BIT Mesra is to educate and prepare graduate engineers with critical thinking skills in the areas of chemical engineering & polymer science and engineering. So it is an interdisciplinary subject where you can learn chemistry and engineering principles. The scope of a chemical engineer is wide. They are mainly recruited in chemical industries, petroleum industries etc. The chemical engineering students of BITS have good placement opportunities.
