Pl.guide me how to apply for admission to mbbs/bds under EWS category.

Dear Atheeq, first off, you should have selected EWS as your Category during the correction window that closed in the monh of May. If you selected EWS as your Category, only then will you be able to appear for counselling under EWS Category. To attend NEET Counselling, you have to login and register at www.mcc.nic.in. This is for 15% All India Counselling. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And their website details will be officially announced by the respective State Authorities. The AIQ counselling is completely online. Once you register, you need to select the Medical Colleges you wish to apply for. For All India Counselling, choice filling will start by June 19th and the results will be announced by June 27th. Counselling for AIQ seats will be done in 3 rounds i.e. 1st round, 2nd rund and mop up round. For round 1, you need to register latest by June 24th, 5pm. Once choice filling is locked, you will be assigned a college in accordance with your rank. If you do not get a seat in Round 1, you will be automatically considered for Round 2. The entire process is also explained at mcc.nic.in. Now you will need certain documents to prove your Category. You will need 3 documents:

1. DOCUMENTS FOR DATE OF BIRTH: You have to provide any of the mentioned documents as said above in the article body.

*Birth certificate under the Birth. Death and Marriage Certificate Act. 1969.

*Hospital/Auxiliary urse and Midwife.(ANM) register record.

*Anganwadi Record.

*Declaration of age of the child by the parents or guardian.

2. DOCUMENTS FOR PROOF OF PRESENT RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS:-

*Ration card in the name of Parents having name of the Child in Ration card.

*Domicile certificate of child or his/her parents.. .

*Voter Id card of any of the parents.

*Electricity Bill/MTNL telephone bill/Water bill.

*Unique Identity Card (Aadhar) of Mother/Father/Child issued by Govt. of India.

*Passport in the name of any of the parents or child

3. DOCUMENTS FOR PROOF OF ECONOMICALLY WEAKER SECTION (EWS):-

*Income. certificate issued by ae Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar

*BPL Ration Card (Yellow coloured)

*AAY Ration Card (pink coloured)

*Food Security card.issued by Food & supply Dept.(GNCT of Delhi)
With these documents you can prove that you belong to EWS category.
