Hi Abhijeet!
When it comes to the 85% State Quota seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Maharashtra, please note that various reservations apply at Maharashtra state level including for gender and regional domicile.
Maharashtra conducts admissions on the basis of 3 regions - Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest Of Maharastra (RoM). Out of the 85% state quota seats, 70% of the seats in colleges in each region are reserved for candidates of that region. Only the remaining 30% seats are made available for non-regional candidates.
Apart from these, 1/3rd seats in all categories are reserved for women.
Now it is difficult to predict what the exact cut offs would be for admissions in Maharashtra through NEET 2018. However, we can use the NEET 2017 cut offs to gain an estimate score which you can target while appearing for the exam.
I am assuming here that you wish to know the OBC category cut offs for both regional and non-regional male candidates in each of these colleges. So as per NEET 2017 trends, the probable cut off marks for each of the three colleges you have mentioned in NEET 2018 should be as per the table below:
|
Name of the College |
Region |
Cut Off for Male OBC 70% Regional candidates (out of 720) |
Cut Off for Male OBC 30% Non-Regional candidates (out of 720) |
|
BJ Medical College, Pune |
Rest of Maharashtra |
502 |
556 |
|
Dr. Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College, Solapur |
Marathwada |
478 |
503 |
|
Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College, Dhule |
Rest of Maharashtra |
469 |
477 |
So I would recommend you set the above mentioned scores (depending on your region) as a minimum target when making preparations for NEET 2018.
I hope this information was useful. All the best!
