rank to get admission in iit exam

Hello,

To get admission into one of the 16 IIT, you first need to appear and qualify JEE Mains and after that qualify JEE Advance.

To qualify JEE Mains and be eligible for Advance you need to secure a rank within 250,000. Around 12 lakhs students appear for JEE Mains every year. After that you can appear for JEE Advance. In JEE Advance, you need to secure a rank within 10,000 to get admission into IITs.

You also need to have PCM as your core subject in class 12th and should secure an aggregate of 75% in all 5 subjects of class 12th to be eligible for admission into IITs.
