National Institute of Open Schooling popularly known as NIOS is a department under the MHRD department under the Government of India. So you can easily apply for NEET and AIIMS entrance examination which are also conducted by some department under the Government of India.
But make sure you use just one of the certificates. If you are using NIOS Certificate use that everywhere.
