ST preparatory rank of 196 is a delegant score . You can definitely get admission into most of the iits but It all depends on what preference you had given during your choice filling .
If you had just given top iits with only core branch like computer science then definitely you will not get any seat in any iits . So your preferrence order and choices here will play a important role for your getting admission in any iit.
