yes you can. Mechatronics is a wonderful combination of mechanical and electronics engineering. a selected few colleges and universities provide the option to select mechatronics and the rise in the need for green solutions for transportation and space application would lead to ample scope for it. the major recruiters are BHEL , Honeywell international and various automotive giants. you could also work in the feild of robotics and embedded systems.
