539 is a good score of admission in MBBS under state quota. You don't need to drop your 1 year to reappear in NEET. You can get admission in MBBS courses through state quota counselling process. However, the cut off marks are different for different states but most of them have a cut off less than 550 for you to have a chance for admission. Hope this helps.
