Sir; I have Secured 135 Rank on EWS catagory & 1385 Gen catagory in JEE Mains. What shout i Opt while appling for CS in NIT ? EWS or Gen for getting more changes in Trichy or Surathka ?

Hello aspirant,

According to the previous year cut off of  JOSAA and CSAB counselling.... you should opt for EWS category because comparatively general category ranks are bit higher than EWS....

For JoSAA your category rank will be considered while for CSAB your CRL rank will be considered. There are limited seats for a particular category in any branch.

Here I'm listing some good NITs in which you have chances to get a seat in CSE branch.....

1. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli

2. National Institute of Technology, Surathkal

3. National Institute of Technology, Warangal

4. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad

5. Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

6. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur

7. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Institute of Technology, Surat

8. Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal

9. National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra

10. National Institute of Technology, Calicut

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future !
