Sir iam frm kerala , can I register in west bengal mbbs counclg?
All India Quota (AIQ) :
Government colleges all over India have 15% of their seats reserved for AIQ. All India Quota, as the name suggests, is for the admission of students from any part of India into that particular college. As an example, a West Bengal student can take admission in BJ medical college, Ahmedabad though AIQ counselling. Here also, 50% seats are for Reserved category students. Admission in AIQ requires very high marks. It's counselling has a separate procedure and is done through AIPMEEE website.
State Quota :
The seats remaining (i.e 85% ) after removing the 15% All India Quota seats are used up for admitting state students. Here also, 50% seats are for Reserved category students. The admission is done through state counselling website (as done for admission in other state semi-govt medical colleges).
Now, considering that you're not getting admission in your state, you've another option. That is to take admission in a private medical college in some other state. Don't confuse this with AIQ . It's totally different and procedure is as per the concerned college. Admission in private medical college would require either huge donation amount or huge fees or both.
