We are very happy to help a person who contributes so much to our national security. It ’ s a good idea to do an MBA in distance mode, and my personal preference would be one from IGNOU. Indian Army has a tie-up with IGNOU in this regard.

Have you tried to contact the Directorate General Resettlement, Department of Ex-Servicemen (MoD) to know about training programmes available for Officers/JCOs/NCOs/OR? Please do, as a number of training programmes, including management programmes are available. I personally know a JCO who retired as an Hon. Captain who did a short-term management programme prior to his retirement and is doing very well now.

It would be great if you could retire as an officer as there is an Armed Forces Programme (AFP) run by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. MDI Gurgaon also runs programs for defence officers.
