Sir I've scored 311 marks I'm a ST category student and also have Delhi quota. Can I get any mbbs seat?
Hello,
Firstly i congratulate you to get a good score in the exam. If we look over the cutoff for 2019 medical colleges, you have enough marks to get a government medical colleges. The cutoff for ST category is 133-107 according to which you might get a mbbs seat.
Adding more to this let me tell you that only 14 students in ST category have passed out the exam out of total 12,69,922 candidates 7. So, this way you have a good opportunity to get a mbbs seat.
Hope this would help you. For further queries write me down in the comment box.

The admission to MBBS courses through NEET exam is divided in two type of colleges.First, colleges with no state quota, they accept NEET All India Rank. Second, colleges with state quota, they release their own merit list.
As you have a low score in NEET therefore getting into colleges with no state quota will be difficult but you can surely get admission in colleges having quota for delhi state students.
As per previous year cut offs you can get following colleges:
- North Delhi Municipal Corporation Medical College, New Delhi: Cutoff:305
- Dr BabaSaheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital, New Delhi: cutoff:309
- Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi: cutoff:319
Online forms will be out in second week of june. The merit list of DU MBBS 2019 will be released in third week of June containing state rank, NEET rank and other candidate details. Counselling will be based on these ranks.
Hey there, You have scored 311 marks in NEET and you also belong to ST Category. Really that will be very helpful to you while taking admission in Government Funding Technical Institute (GFTI) as some special seats are being reserved for each and every special reserved category. There are very fewer chances of yours being getting admission in any government college in Delhi as even you know cutoffs are very high for that one.
I would personally suggest you use the NEET Predictor and explore various colleges according to your category and home state quota and choose the best one for you as this college will be your future lifeline. It will be best for you as it will show the college according to your marks and from that, you can choose the best college for you.
With a score of 311, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 304 was required to fetch one a seat in the Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar medical college in SC category under the state quota. For this score, the corresponding rank was around 1,75,000. However you can go through the following link to know about the cut off's and ranks for the previous years and calculate your chances of selection
