sir, my neet 2019 score is 533 and belong to general category. i am from kerala.is there any chance for a govt. mbbs seat in my state/india

Dear Chandran, 533 is a very pretty good score. In 2018, under State quota 558 marks score a seat under General Category. 481 marks secured a seat in Self Financing Medical college. But for All India Quota, you have very fair chances with that score in rest of India if not in Kerala. Eitherways cut off changes every year and it depends on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. We would suggest you to wait until the official Answer key is released so that you can be sure of your chances.

I was going through the news and the cut offs might be lesser than last years given the fact that Biology and Physics have been tough. The cut offs also depend on the top NEET score. Inspite of this, if your score has been what you mentioned, you stand a very fair chance of getting a seat.

Since you know the cutoff for Kerala goes quite high as compared to the other states. Your chances of getting a seat in govt colleges is moderate to low as compared to the previous year Cutoff. However you might try for other states or private colleges.
