Hello Dear Student,
If you are appearing for class 12th exam from Open Board (NIOS) and have marked 'ABS' (Absent) in Geography practical, then you will only have to re-appear for the practical exam and prepare the practical file (Lab Manual). You will not have to re-appear for the theory paper.The rule to pass the subject in Open Board is that it is mandatory to pass (minimum 33% marks) both in theory and practical separately. Since you were absent in practical, you will have to re-appear for practical.
