Hey subhadeep choudhary,
You should not join any college through JEE mains. If you have a chance to take a year drop, then do it and prepare well so that you can get a good college. I will suggest you to take a drop and prepare smartly to get a top NIT otherwise you can join these colleges.

This was my drop year . Due to the unfortunate nta results i am getting this rank though I had scored 190 marks
