An interview call from IIMs is a combination of various parameters like -
CAT percentile% in 10th, 12th and graduationWork experienceGraduation course aka Academic diversity. Privilege for Non-EngineersGender diversity. Privilege for females.
So, the lowest that I have heard is 89.xx% scored by me and I got an interview call from IIM Shillong.
The rest depends upon how fairly you sail in your GROUP DISCUSSION AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW. As after receiving an interview call the weightage of CAT score and above points is only around 50% and the remaining is for GDPI.
Also, IIM AHMEDABAD has this course named FABM - FOOD AND AGRICULTURE MANAGEMENT which gives interview call to students from agricultural background at percentile as low as 70. Also, it has been ranked world's no. 1 course for consecutive 2 or 3 years.
I hope it will help you
Good luck....
Hello!
There are three sections: quantitative ability, verbal reasoning and data interpretation and logical reasoning.
Lr and di include topics like cubes, blood relation etc. You can use How to Prepare for Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning for CAT (Tata McGraw-Hill) by Arun Sharma for the same.
You need to have 90-95 percentile to get into good colleges.
