Hello candidate,
You should go for NIT if you're getting the older NITs. Some of the NITs placement record are way better and AIT and even better than some IITs. The idea behind AIT is prepare technocrats for defense,whereas the NITs have to prepare technocrats for corporate sector like any other engineering colleges.
In term of placements NIT Tirchy, NIT kurukshetra are ahead of AIT.
