Some one told Delhi university is waste for degree.. It is better to b. Tech only.. I got in hansraj.. Is that correct?

DU is a highly reputated and most sort after university, btech and bsc are two different fields and you can't compare these two.
It depends completely on your interest what you want to pursue.
But getting admission in du amidst so high cutoffs is a matter of pride in itself you can't say getting a degree from du is waste.
Now it depends on you to choose.
