Supernumerary Seats in various Faculties/Institute are available under sports category for admission to programmes in BHU.

Criteria to be eligible for Sports Quota seats is as follows-

- Candidate is required to have passed the qualifying examination

- Candidate should have appeared in the entrance test of the concerned course

- Candidate must fulfill the AIU participation rule

- Candidate should  have  played  National (senior/junior/sub-junior/youth, School Games Federation of India) at least upto qualifying examination or should have secured a position in Zonal/Inter Zonal/Direct All India up to 4th position Inter University Tournament/championship of AIU games.
