This year in 2019, 537 marks haven't been able to secure a seat in a Government Medical College even after Round 2. As of 2019, UP has approximately 5565 MBBS seats available for State Counselling. And this number might increase. The UP Government has sent proposal to the Health Ministry for 3 new Medical Colleges in the State. Even if the no.of seats increases by 300 atleast, the students who appear for NEET increases in lakhs every year. And cut offs chamgr every year. Keeping all this in mind, for a seat in UP GMC, you should atleast aim for 600.
