There is no fixed cutoff, but based on past counselling patterns, the next round often extends by 1,000–3,000 ranks depending on seat availability.

So a reasonable estimate would be:

If a large number of students leave for KCET, JEE Main, BITS, NITs, etc., the call may go even higher. If seat surrender is low, it may stop much closer to 5,600.
