Cut off marks for admission into a government BDS College (for general/unreserved category) is around 490 (average via All India Quota). I would suggest you to comment below your state, and I can then provide you the exact cut off and the marks you should target for to get admission into a BDS college.
Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Science, which is considered as one of the finest dental colleges in India, had a cut off of 558 marks (Unreserved Category via All India Quota) in 2018. There are some BDS colleges which have cut offs as low as 450. However if you want a seat via All India Quota, you must target for a score of 490.
State quota cut off will definitely be lower and varies from state to state. So its better that you comment below your state, and I shall provide you the required marks.
