What benefits in du would we give for students who have ews as campared to other students??

The students who belong to the ews category will be given some relaxation in the cut off percentage. Few seats are reserved for the ews students in all the colleges of Delhi University.

However, there's not much difference in the cut offs for ews category as compared to the general category students but still cut offs for ews category is slightly lower than that of unreserved category.

Delhi University will be implementing the economically weaker sections (EWS) quota due to which there will 25% increase in seats in two phases — 10% from this academic session and the remaining 15% next year. With the new quota, there will be 6,550 more seats in undergraduate and postgraduate courses this year. This will increase the chances of getting admission. This is the benefit that ews students will get.
