Dear Shietal, once the entrance exam is done with, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates scoring minimum cut off percentage and equivalent marks will be eligible for counselling and admission process. Based on the position in the merit list, candidates will be called in for counselling. The candidates called will be 4 times for a seat. For example, for every 1 seat, 4 people are invited for counselling. So admission process is based on counselling.

Its not like a retest or a job interview. These 4 candidates is the severity of the competition. It is based on variousnother factors like category, etc.
