Hello Aaradhya,
This year DU has increased the seats for EWS students by 10%, which means a rise of close to 6,000 seats, taking the total number of seats for undergraduate courses to 62,000.
All applicants may not get the EWS quota benefit as the seats will be distributed as per the merit of the EWS students. It was officially announced by the Dean of DU.

i belong to the ews category. And to make this more clear mam, I wanted to ask that "What if the total applicants under EWS quota is less than 6000, will all the applicants get admission ?
