Hello,
Reservation refers to the seats which cannot be given to other people which are not mentioned. If there is 100 seats, then 50% means that 50 seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Muslims. There is seat matrix. In seat matrix, usually the reserved seats and open eats are shown. There are reservations for SC/ST, PwD, EWS.
