Mathematics is a universal subject and an M. Sc. Mathematics from a reputed institute like NIT shall open up many opportunities for you. I'm mentioning some of the avenues you may opt for below :

1. RESEARCH : If research is what drives and fuels your passion, then you can go into research and academics and climb up to become a Research Scientist or a Professor or both. Check out institutes like TIFR, Mumbai and IMSc., Chennai. As a Researcher you can also work for organizations like DRDO, ISRO, SETS, etc. in military operations.

2. CHARTERED ACCOUNTANCY : Do you have a flair for auditing, taxes and accounting? If yes, you can think of preparing and becoming a Chartered Accountant too.
