Admission to the PhD programmes are based on the aspirant's performance in the Departmental Admission Test (DAT). Applicants with fellowships by UGC/CSIR/AICTE or similar agencies are exempted from the written examination. Applicants with a valid NET/GATE or similar examination score can also skip the CUSAT DAT exam.
