Dear Sonu,
There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a govt. medical college.
If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -
Clear your basic concepts.
Be thorough with NCERT textbook. Its a must.
Solve previous year question papers.
Take mock tests to assess your progress.
Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams
Solve as much as numerical possible.
Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.
All the best !

There is nothing called a fixed cut off marks. It increases year to year commonly. If you are targeting for 15% quota try to score 580+ . And 520+ for 85% quota. Hope this will help. Thank you.

If you keep in mind the plunge in the cut off scores for admission through the All India 15 % quota, don't settle for anything less than 570. In fact try scoring a little more than that to increase your odds of selection.

The Unreserved category candidates will be required to obtain marks equal to or more than the 50thpercentile in order to qualify NEET. Last year, the score for this was 131. However, note that this is qualifying cutoff and this won't get you a seat.
For getting a seat in your state through state quota, try to score around 520 to 540. And, for a seat in All India quota, try to score around 550 to 600.
All the best.

Hi,
The cut off can be predicted approximately and can't be said surely.
So, score around or above the last year cutoff and you will surely get a seat.

Hey Sonu,
- The cut off for NEET 2018, in order to be elligible for All India Quota Counselling is 50th percentile
- Last year (2017), the cut off score was 131 marks out of 720 which was the 50th percentile. Should you have answered NEET 2017, you would have required to score above 131 to be elligible for Counseling.
- Based on last year's trends, the cut off for this year should be approximately above 150.
- I also want to emphasize that by merely scoring the bare minimum, you may be not get a seat in a college you desire.
- The closing rank for the top colleges in India, last year, was within 4,000, which corresponds to a score of 530+. Hence, if you are aiming for the best colleges or even a good government college, you must focus on scoring above 540 for NEET 2018.
- All the very best for your preparations!
