What is the cut-off marks for UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2?

These are the expected cut off marks for the UGC NET 2019 Exam:
- Economics from 56.66 to 66.33.
- Political Science from 55.00 to 63.00.
- Management from 54.67 to 62.00.
- Sociology from 59.33 to 68.93.
- English from 52.67 to 60.67.
- Mass Communication & Journalism from 52.33 to 59.73.
- Social Work from 59.77 to 68.96.

You have to clear the cut off marks to qualify the exam. UGC NET Exam has been successfully conducted from 20th to 28th June 2019 and the result for the same will be declared on 15th July 2019.

Cut off calculation is 40% but most of the topper among the candidate can calculated as a topper and eligible candidate. You must practice well,

Exam pattern is changed for 50 questions,100 marks and each carry 2 marks. 5 set of questions ,likewise all the 50 questions. No negative marks. Attend all the questions.

The UGC NET Exam is conducted Every year and the NET Cutoff is different Subject wise every year
You can make a very good career in the lectureship if you prepare well for the exam. NET exam is for those who are from commerce, arts or humanities backgrounds. If you have completed your post-graduation in the above field, you are eligible for the exam. Make sure you have min 55 % in the post-graduation (as a general candidate) and 50% (as a reserved and Women candidate)
The Minimum Marks Required for the UGC NET Paper 1 Exam is as follows -
For General Candidates- The minimum Marks required is 40 % in paper 1 and Paper 2
For Reserved Candidates- The minimum marks required is 35 % for SC/ST/PWD/OBC Candidates
The Cutoff marks for the UGC NET Paper 2 is different as per the Subjects. There are more than 80 subjects in the UGC NET Exam.

The qualifying UGC NET cut off for General category is 40% in Paper I & II while the qualifying marks for reserve category is 35% in Paper I & II. CBSE also release the subject-wise cutoff for JRF and Lectureship. For more details, Click here
